Whooming is a service that aims to uncover the true identity of blocked calls, allowing users to finally put a face to those harassing hidden numbers. With Whooming, you can defend yourself against stalkers, call centers, and telephone pranks that are violating your privacy by hiding their phone numbers.
Using Whooming is a simple process. All you need to do is download the app and register. When you receive an anonymous call, simply reject it. Within a few seconds, the caller's clear number will be available in your Whooming call log.
Whooming offers a free service, with the first 7 days of usage including a premium subscription that allows you to see the numbers completely in clear text. After the initial week, Whooming remains free, with only the last four digits of the number visible.
If you want to immediately access the entire number, don't worry! Whooming offers subscription options of different durations that can be purchased directly from the app.
Customer feedback is always welcome and encouraged. If you encounter any problems or have suggestions for improvement, please feel free to contact us.
How It Works:
- Register and configure Whooming
- When you receive a hidden call, reject it
- In a few seconds, view the telephone number of the caller in your Whooming call log
- To test by being called from a hidden phone number, prefix # # # (from smartphone) or * 67 # (from landline) to your number
- In the list of rejected calls with Whooming, only blocked calls received and rejected after app installation will be displayed
- Some smartphones may ask for permission to access your contact list and show app notifications upon launch. To enable full functionality, click "Allow"
- Note: If the anonymous caller hangs up before receiving a busy signal, the blocked call cannot be identified as there was no time to divert it to our server
- We recommend checking your phone credit, as Whooming is free but forwarding a call may require credit depending on your operator
- You can check the "busy diversion" to our service number by typing * # 67 ** 11 #
- You can register multiple phone numbers under the same Whooming account
- Internet connection is not required to identify and reject anonymous calls, but it is necessary to access the app's features and call list
- For questions, clarifications, and assistance, refer to the "Whooming guidelines" section at this address: https://www.whooming.com/en-EN/guidelines.html
